If you want to improve sales, learn new marketing skills, build staff morale and sense of pride, gain new contacts, or simply just want to improve your neighbours and friends understanding of why farming matters … then we would like to invite you to get involved with Open Farm Sunday.

 

The overall objective of Open Farm Sunday is to provide everyone with an opportunity to visit a farm and learn and value the story behind their food and its link with nature. The Open Farm Sunday theme is – “Care about your food? We do!”

Just as every farm is unique, no one event will be the same. Some will be a farm tour for the local village, whilst other events may be open to everyone and include - a farm tour, nature trail, tractor & trailer rides, farmers markets, picnics, activities for children and much more!

This website has lots of useful ideas, guidance and tops tips to help you organise a really fun and memorable day for your guests. When you register your event, LEAF will send you a resource pack, including - publicity material; activities; H&S guidance; polo shirts and lots more!
